That one was challenging. Whew.

I feel like the lawyerly stuff is off (put it all on Mom w/out knowing whether or not she’ll testify seems too risky for a lawyer), which leaves me not quite as beguiled as I was through the first five or so episodes when you begin to see through the veil of the unreliable narration. But not enough to break the show’s spell altogether.

Marlin’s actions sure seem to indicate he’s hiding past abuse of Danny, but we still haven’t heard it from Danny himself, or anyone, have we?
