Sophie's friends decide her 18th party is gonna be a banger! Unfortunately the party gets out of hand when it is crashed by actual monsters!

This movie is basically Evil Dead meets Buffy the Vampire slayer with a lot of b movie elements added. Obvious adults playing teenagers? Check. Bad acting? You bet. Actors faking fights with props? Yup. Obviously cheap creature design and effects? Sure thing.

I can see where it may sound like a raucous romp, but it just doesn't spark joy. Unlike with Snatchers, where the cast seems to be enjoying themselves, this lacked even that energy. Basically a fun idea that didn't work.
