The FA Cup provides Wrexham a chance to live up to its storied past and to take on teams playing many leagues above them.

Part of the fun of watching this season is that I've kept up with the team's progress in real time, while Mr. Blah is only getting updates via the show. (He does know they got promoted, but none of the details.) That was particularly exciting in this episode, since I knew where it was all going but Mr. Blah was on the edge of his seat.

I’d seen some clips from the Cup games and I knew they’d done well, but didn’t know the details and the final results. It was really exciting to watch and it must have felt absolutely incredible for the Wrexham fans who were there.

Noticed too that Ryan’s demeanor was much changed in this episode and his pride in the team was very heartwarming.

Agreed. I'd much rather watch Ryan augment the positivity and good will he's building in Wrexham than see him sit and seethe that he hasn't found a pay-to-win strategy.

I'd forgotten about Sheffield's captain getting into trouble for his comments after the game; I don't think the show made it clear he'd accused the referee of "helping" Wrexham.

They kept teasing us with views of the silver-paper covered cardboard FA Cup that someone had at the Racecourse, but they chickened out of showing what it had written on it.

Another great episode though.

I was on the edge of my seat for this, roughly like Ryan Reynolds was. They do a great job of cutting to keep the momentum going.

Shame Hulu is about to jack their prices, because I'd love to see this season through to the end.
