Such a fake-out with this episode description.

Okay, this is the third season that Lainton has had a season-ending injury at Bromley. If I ran the team, Lainton would never play at Bromley again. (Although now that they've advanced maybe it won't come up?)

I am wondering if Foster agreed to play for "peanuts" because of the exposure the show would get for his YouTube channel. If that's going to be his main focus, a stint on Welcome to Wrexham will definitely add followers.

Mark Howard was clearly gutted but managed to put a brave face on it. And it seems like he and Foster have a really good rapport.

If you don't want spoilers for a theoretical Season 3 of the show, don't google any of the goalkeepers' names. Or visit Foster's YouTube channel. Or watch Howard's podcast.

That's an interesting theory--I knew nothing about Foster before this but that would certainly make sense.

When one of the first thing Ben Foster said was something like "I'm not here to boost my follower count" I thought right away that's why he was there.
