Beacon 23: God in the Machine Show Only

I added the show only tag, although it doesn't feel like this is getting the book readers to come in and spoil that anyway, but clarity is always welcome.

Sorry for the delay - Thanksgiving has me catching up with things.

So, Bart has been around for a long time, and has already killed to protect the Beacon. Or maybe to protect the Beacon keeper? Is the thing that Milan was searching for the thing that Solomon found, or is Beacon 23 just very special as a source for short stories?

And man, this show has interesting ideas, but it feels like they need better writers to flesh them out a bit.

Also every time I hear Bart, I sort of have to remind myself that it isn't Alan Tudyk performing the voice. It seems like the sort of role he'd be cast in.

It's entertaining so far, but seems to be flailing for a coherent narrative.

Yeah - like on the one hand the totally-not-the-Protomolecule in the first three episodes felt like it had long-term story potential, maybe, but then they take a hard turn into a really pretty nice but totally disconnected feeling episode with Barbara Hershey and I'm not sure whether this is just going to be an anthology series about a point in space, or if there's a through line that just isn't obvious yet. Like, 4 episodes into an 8 episode season, I'm expecting maybe a little more?
