I was not expecting that ending (and I'm a little disappointed by it).

Yeah, it's one of those twists that gets less plausible the more you think about it.

I liked the twist because that means Archer was right from the beginning.

It's not sitting when it's your own kid, dammit.

I think that was pretty weak compared to the elevator episode. And, honestly, I'm ready for the baby to disappear down whatever memory hole the first baby (Seamus?) did. Babies on this show are boring and distracting because you know they'll never come to any harm.

I did like Pam's decision to leave the roof.

The idea Pam would turn all King Kong but have the internal logic of leaving the roof is somehow more believable than the colossal amounts of stupid human decisions in most other TV I watch.

Take Arrow, the masked vigilante, the island and all the other fantastical story elements are pointless because why the fuck wouldn't Lauren tell her dad his daughter is dead and why wouldn't Thea be curious about the flooded basement that everyone spends so much time in.

It's why Archer is so damn good, they get the important bits right. Nobody really gives a shit whether Krieger is a clone in the same way nobody really gives a shit if Oliver is resurrected by a Lazarus Pit or Magic Tea. The humanity though, that's what we care about and that's why Archer has much better writing.

The only thing I don't get is why this quality of writing it's so fucking rare.

I think the writers of Arrow and the like are embarrassed by the woo and so don't really commit to the parts which are real. Surely writing humans would be easier what with us all being one.

OMG shitty writers are Lizards!!!

Would it be too weird to ask a breastfeeding friend to contribute to a Rusty Krieger?

Yeah, like eight times the ass.

I think in Archer's case it really is sitting. Thank goodness he didn't get a tattoo with this baby.

"I will literally...no, yeah, literally beat you to death."

Glad he's learning.

If there isn't already, someone needs to make a list of pop-culture references to situations made catastrophic by poorly translated foreign phrases (this, Hitchhiker's Guide, Futurama, etc...)

It was predictable, but I enjoyed Archer's growing humanity (he even showed concern for Cyril!) I felt we were kind of overdue for a rampage. What didn't work was that Lana (or Malory) wasn't more enraged by improv bad guy's admission that he had a real gun.

I enjoyed poker/Ouija night, and it was nice that the gang realized something was off with Archer (I keep not being sure if Krieger is still Krieger or one of his clones, but I think this puts a tick in the "real Krieger" column?)

"And basically the only thing that keeps you from murdering each other is a lack of access to fire arms."
"Works for Canada."
"Nothing works for Canada." (Whee! Archer is paying attention to us!)

Could have used a Milton toast attack. Also, Archer is Kristy, with a bit of Claudia.

Totally, Archer is gaining a tiny bit of self consciousness/awareness. Like LizBoBiz said, at least he didn't bring in (or call out to) a tatooist.

Krieger is dead, long live Krieger. I guess. I miss Original Krieger. Only an outsider would notice something amiss, or care, about Archer.

Thank goodness he didn't get a tattoo with this baby.

Well, c'mon, he's all out of shoulders. Plus as a meta-joke I kind of like that the tattoos he has are all of people who aren't actually related to him.

Speaking of foreign phrases, can any Urdu speakers confirm if that actually was how you say "No shit, you goat-raping pig devil"? ...I'm asking for a friend.

Some people on reddit thinks so.

And that H. Jon Benjamin did a credible accent.
