Obliterated: Obliterated (full season)
January 8, 2024 6:37 AM - Season 1 (Full Season) - Subscribe

An elite special forces team who thwarts a deadly threat to Las Vegas. After their celebratory party, filled with booze, drugs and sex, the team discovers that the bomb they deactivated was a fake. The now intoxicated team has to fight through their impairments, overcome their personal issues, find the real bomb, and save the world. From the creators of Cobra Kai and the Harold and Kumar films, featuring C. Thomas Howell as you’ve never seen him before!

If you liked the Legends of Tomorrow “sometimes we screw things up for the better!” vibe but wish it had a higher body count and more nudity, this might be for you! It is funny, with plenty of well-earned plot twists and excellent action sequences. It also has diverse representation. It’s an all-around good time.

This show also seems to be single-handedly attempting to compensate for the woeful imbalance between female and male full frontal nudity on streaming. If you would like to see some penises, well, there are MANY.

On Netflix— why not provide info where we can watch this?

"justwatch.com" + "obliterated" is about half as much typing as your complaint.

This series was super entertaining. In some ways it seemed like a parody, but ultimately I don't think it was, really. It just was what it was.

Its unbridled celebration of hedonism was really refreshing - it often seems like creators need to punish their characters for indulging in sex, drugs and so on. There were consequences here to be sure, but they were more functional than moral.

There were so many great moments. My favorite was at the end of the final episode, but it would constitute a spoiler so I'll hold off until people have had a chance to participate.

I was encouraged by the equal opportunity nudity. I don't think I've seen that many different penises in a single property before. Or as much actual handling and activity with them. It was a bit surprising at first, but then I was like "Yeah! Good for you!"

A+, would definitely watch a second season.

Looot of dicks in this one. Also every woman in the main crew gets topless (or more) at least once. That was initially a bit jarring and a little off-putting but the relentless energy of the show and cast wore me down until I was on the same wavelength and ended up binging the whole thing over a weekend and rather liking it as a series. I don't think the show got better as such, I just got more into its vibe. I also had the feeling that the people making the show were having a good time.

And I will second under_petticoat_rule's comment that it's refreshing that there wasn't any moralizing about the drinking and drugs and sex.

I watched this while knitting and found it ok. There were some good moments, and I pretty much love all of the Thomas C Howell stuff. But there were parts that dragged, and I didn't really buy the romantic chemistry between Ava and Great Value Hemsworth. And while I was fine with most of the nudity, I really was not prepared for a drill up the peehole. That was just....a lot.
