This settles in at the tier where it's not total dogshit and it will probably hang around for decades, but insisting it's good at all will require a contrarian hot take.

Shelve this next to Deck the Halls, below even the trashy guilty pleasures shelf with Jingle All the Way.

This was marginally watchable Christmas dreck. Which is fine, dreck is kinda what I expect from 99% of Christmas movies and marginally watchable is well above the average unwatchable Christmas dreck. I wouldn't sit through it a second time though.

I found it near unwatchable personally though I will admit I really am not the target audience for this. The biggest surprise, well maybe not a surprise more disappointment, was that the "Cockney" cabbie was played by Nick Offerman. Why? Surely you could have found someone British or at least someone able to do a passable accent? I like Offerman but accents are not one of his strengths.

Ooh, I love a good cock-er-ney accent Meewy Pawpins! Maybe I'll watch the Offerman scenes.

We got about 35m into it, then had to do something else - and never returned to finish it ...
