I won't spoil anything here but I just finished this series. I like Harlan Coben shows, they're always delightfully ridiculous. There's a formula (a deep dark secret, a character with something to hide, an investigator with their own problems, children going off on their own to find clues) but it works for me.

Loved the detective character.

I was surprised the ending went where it did but at least everything was all tied up. I didn't notice any huge plot holes aside from the typical Coben red herrings.

All in all I enjoyed it!

I liked this well enough. the drama level was off the charts pretty much constantly, which gets a little old. I thought Maya was a bit over the top aggro and violent, like whoa dude yr not in a war zone!

Agreed Sami was one of the best characters, that scene on the roof had me biting my toenails!

The precipitating incident did seem to be the biggest plothole. The nanny had to discover the nanny-cam, report it to the family, come up with this plan, have her husband stage the video, generate the deepfake and plant the footage on the SD card all in one day?
