We’re finally discussing a good book! Naomi Klein’s "Doppelgänger" chronicles the long, steady descent of another Naomi — Wolf (buddy oof) — from feminist icon to crank conspiracist. To hear the rest of the episode, support us on Patreon:https://www.patreon.com/IfBooksPod

I did note it in the tags, I couldn’t resist.

When Michael mentioned it online I thought for sure it was going to be about the guy in Enumclaw.

That story stands on its own as a perfect three minutes of podcasting.

Well I can tell you that the first time I screamed was when Wolf told Klein at their first meeting ‘you look like someone who’s been raped’. Not the last time.

Ironically I have had the ebook of Doppelgänger out from the library for a couple weeks before this came out but I hadn’t started it and now I am desperately trying to finish it effort the loan expires.

I got about halfway through before the library yanked it back and I was okay with that; I felt like I'd read enough.
