This show is so hard to watch, which means it’s definitely doing its job to present the situation dramatically. I feel so wrapped up in everyone’s lives—and it’s so fucking sad and infuriating. I got so damn mad, though, at Sam’s husband insisting to the much more tuned in lawyer that she was fine. I wanted to slap him, because it shouldn’t have come to her attempting suicide for him to wake up. Everyone is so good in this but I especially like Ian Hart as the forensic accountant.

It’s even worse knowing they’re still dealing with this, as mentioned in the previous episode’s thread. I don’t imagine that despite Sunak’s comments, a Tory government will do anything to correct this mess.

Bob begins by looking into twelve reported cases of issues with Horizon – and resulting prosecutions or punishments – given to him by the Post Office. He interviews Jo, who wonders what actually happened to the money she was supposed to have lost. He talks to Lee Castleton and tears up when Lee explains that he thought he could simply tell the truth in court and the British justice system would be on his side

Episode 2 recap here

This episode makes me wonder if there was any attempt to hold Fujitsu accountable. At every place where I’ve worked for the past couple of decades (ish) it has been unthinkable to not log each user’s changes - and for each user who touches production environments to do so under their own accounts.
