Dua Lipa was surprisingly good for a musical guest-host. She was in every sketch except the cold open, did some American accents, etc.

I felt like all the sketches were weak, though. The cold open was just plain bad. They totally failed to say anything about that situation and relied on Kenan mugging it up to get any laughs. The Sonny Angel sketch (the one called "Challengers" in this post) took a fun weird premise and killed it by trying to make it about that movie, without any real reason. The Anomalous Man sketch sort of did the same thing, when it veered off into the cell phones. It's too bad, because with better sketches and a decent host, this could have been a much better show.

It seemed like a lot of pre-recordeds and the Young Spicy and jingle duo sketches are purely templated timefillers. Dua Lipa was still good. Not really a standout, but better than many established actors who host.

I thought Penne alla Vodka was funny, and I bet it gets some mindshare in the coming wedding season.
