My boyfriend and I watched this today; our tastes in film are fairly different but we both found this a delight.

I hadn't heard of it before this post. I watched it and I liked it. I liked the ambiguity of Jamie's journey and I also liked how much the movie let him be a young, awkward 14-year-old. He's just figuring all of it out! He didn't figure it out by the end of this but he's a bit closer.

I also liked that Dan was shown to not be quite as cool as Jamie thought he was and Jamie slowly realized that.

What a lovely little movie.
