When tech billionaire Slater King meets cocktail waitress Frida at his fundraising gala, he invites her to join him and his friends on a dream vacation on his private island. As strange things start to happen, Frida questions her reality.

This was good: tense and effective thriller. Sets up all its elements and uses them well. Doesn't try too hard to add pointless extra twists.

I not sure after first viewing if Lucas was a non-participating perpetrator or a victim? There is one flashback scene where you see Slater somehow engaged with Lucas, who is on the ground. It wasn't clear to me what that was either.

I think I missed a scene where Lucas tries the perfume. But I thought from his dialogue with Slater that Lucas doesn't take part in the abuse, but doesn't try to stop it either. I don't think he's a victim.

At one of the dinners one of the victims tells Lucas he smells nice; I think that is the only reference to that he might be dosing on the perfume.
