Togetherness?

Should I post it? I've really been enjoying this new half-hour show from HBO, but this first season is scheduled for eight episodes and Sunday's was the seventh.

Been watching it this week after Patton Oswalt tweeted about it and I've really been liking it. In fact I was looking for its FanFare when I found this. Quite smart and cringey and nice and funny. I don't usually like marriage shows but this one gets me so far, and the bit cameos have been great.

Yeah, there's some aspects of the show I'd really like to discuss. I think the show's quite good and pretty nuanced -- I can see how it's on well-trod territory but I think it's nevertheless doing some interesting stuff.

I feel like with FanFare, posts need to be about the most recently aired episodes and be about fairly popular shows. Otherwise, there's very low interest and almost no participation. The only exceptions to this are old episodes of very popular shows, as in re-watches and the like.

But I'd still feel like posts for a new HBO show like this one would make sense and I'd have made one seven weeks ago with the first episode when it premiered. But I didn't discover the show until about a month ago. At that point, there'd already been three episodes and no one had posted it. Now this coming Sunday night's episode will be the finale of this first season. Making a series of posts for these prior episodes seems like a waste of time and would have low participation and just posting for this week's or Sunday night's episode also seems kind of pointless.

It's frustrating. This is part of how FanFare frustrates me.
