I thought this was dreadful, other than a first sketch that actually had political guts for once, and a last that -- well, that was Whiskers R We, and there's nothing I can add to that.

What was going on in that waterpark sketch? Did they really build a full seemingly-functional slide for that?

I did not think this episode was as bad as many others have, though I do think it would have been better if it was just 90 minutes of 22 year old Aidy Bryant singing Christina Aguilera songs in a Blonde wig, but that is a bar that even the strongest of episodes couldn't clear.

Digital Exclusive: Inner White Girl. This was funnier than most sketches last night and made sense for it to be pre-taped. The office sketch they aired was ok but I don't know why it had to be pre-taped.

The home videos in the monologue were great, but the individual moments with the moms dragged. Their heart was in the right place, but their cast is too big and it dragged on. They should have gone with their instincts and just had a musical moms monologue.

I remember Ebert's TV review of Joe Dirt he praised David Spade for breaking out of his regular characterization. He hated the movie, but at least David Spade was trying something different.

So, thanks, Saturday Night Live, for a game show sketch that isn't about how celebrities are stupid.

I guess Reese Witherspoon is a big fan of Leslie Jones, because she was all the hell over this ep.

I think my favorite part of this episode was the cool purple dress Reese was wearing for the monologue.

I laughed harder at "Whiskers R We" than anything in a long, long time. I love the absurd stuff that tends to get saved for the last sketch. Also, Kate McKinnon could probably read the phone book and make me laugh out loud.

I thought this was one of the funnier episodes of the season. The only sketch that really fell flat was the waterslide. The women, especially Kate, Cecily and Leslie, are really carrying the show at the moment.
