This is one of my favorite episodes (and one my kids ask to re-watch the most). It might not have any influence on the rest of the Adventure Time mythos, but so many great bits.

I didn't notice until my most recent re-watch that Buffo was trying to bury Elder Jeremy alive after he was released from comet duty.

It's really fun how consistent Adventure Time has been in depicting its magic-user characters as, right across the board, socially maladaptive unreliable weirdoes. No wise old men here!
