A wonderfully creepy lil horror film directed and co-written from American film maker Leigh Janiak.

IMDB here. It is currently streaming on Netflix.

Cool! I watched this a couple of months ago.

Then recently I watched the trailer for that new Vin Diesel witchy action movie, and kept wondering if the redhead in the background of a bunch of scenes was familiar to me because she looked sort of like Anna Kendrick, or if I'd actually seen her somewhere before...Looked it up, she was the lead in this. Not enough to sell me a ticket to that movie, but a nice surprise.

And a woman directed it. I will check this out.

Oh yeah! Worth a watch. Caused a disagreement in the lumpenprole household as to whether it delivered on it's promises.

I liked it all the way through. I dislike over-explained things and this was certainly not that. The sense of uncovering something about someone you love was the best part and played perfectly.

I can't wait to talk about this movie. I really enjoyed it and I would not have watched it if it wasn't for this post. It also reminded me of Zombie Honeymoon, a personal favorite, which has similar elements but way more gore and body horror (and comedy).

Both leads though should look super familiar as the female lead is Jon's Snow's fire kissed love on GoT and the male lead is Victor Frankenstein on Penny Dreadful.
