Interesting trivia note: Savage and Shirin not only both work for Yahoo, they work in the same building.

So three tribal councils and three separate alliances for Abi. I hope someone can get her out soon, because after the merge everyone is going to want to sit next to that sour face in the final two/three.

I know Savage is not a favorite of everybody, but I've got to hand it to him and Tasha, that they could so quickly go from a terrible position to basically King and Queen of their tribe is a major testament to their gameplay as well as the dysfunction of the rest of the former Ta-Keo on their tribe.

And so our budding sociopath spreads her wings. Abi never fails to find new & inventive ways to be gratuitously cruel. Why hide your alliance's voting decisions for strategic advantage when you can extract pleasure from dropping a bomb on them & drinking in their reactions?

I completely doubt he'll do it, but if Woo leads a group to voting Abi out that would be my favorite outcome.

I love savage, his tendency to gently narrate himself outside of confessionals cracks me up. Abi is a terrible goat, too unpredictable.

Oh and I fear Spencer is getting the winners edit already.

Oh and I fear Spencer is getting the winners edit already.

On a similar note, I fear Terry is getting the "about to take a great fall" edit, where the overconfident player who thinks he is in a great position ends up not long for the game. I actually thought for sure he was getting the boot this episode after watching his initial confessional which seemed to telegraph that narrative.

It's so funny that Survivor has visible stylistic edits to reflect narratives that are yet to unfold. Another thing to love about the show, how it shapes the "reality" of Reality TV. And of course Jeff studies the tapes & knows how to steer people in one direction or another.

i watch a lot of competition reality and i really think survivor is one of the best as far as editing/host knowledge/easter eggs/etc goes.
