The show really needs some villains (besides Jeff) that are outside the core cast.

Ugh, I was rooting for Avery to go through with the divorce filing! He and Cadence deserve better, and then if this show isn't cancelled this season at least we can hope that Juliette will eventually get her shit together and have a redemption narrative.

Shouldn't there have been more about the BLVD guy Rayna signed to bail out her label? Oh show, I can't tell if it's really that Rayna's a terrible businesswoman or if the writers forget about Highway 65 80% of the time.

Teddy's final jail scene was pretty touching, though.

I want Avery to divorce Juliette too, and move in with Gunner and Will permanently. The opening scene with Gunner making pancakes and Will sniffing the baby's butt was the most adorable thing ever.

Oh Deacon. He is the worst. I'm just waiting for the inevitable "Deacon can't deal with his emotions and lashes out at those closest to him, destroying his relationships" storyline.

For real.

For a minute, I thought that Juliette woke up with Luke Wheeler in the opening montage, bringing the number of men that both Juliette and Rayna have both slept with to 2. But regretfully, that didn't happen.
