I love this show so hard. I have to wait until episodes become available on Amazon a few days after they air on Pivot in the US, and it's maddening.

I really like this season how Josh seems to be the most stable one of the group. I'm just waiting for Tom to melt down and reveal whatever weirdness is going on in his head.

I would be perfectly happy if Arnold would sing in every episode, but I'll have to comfort myself with how he sweetly explained to Alan that it's okay to cry.

Cardboard city is making progress.

I'm less thrilled to see Stuart make a reappearance. I was really hoping it was Alan calling Rose on the phone. I'd like to see their dynamic.

Best line of the episode: Hannah asking if she should have worn a dress to the party. I don't know why, but that cracked me up. Such a bummer she is going back to beige inside, but that's loads better than beating her feet.

One aspect I thought was really sharp in this episode was Arnold's dad's self-serving justification for his inability to accept Arnold - the claim that he was angry about the dishonesty, rather than the homosexuality. That he'd made it very clear to Arnold that he wouldn't accept him if the truth were known, and then blamed Arnold for not telling him. So cruel.

I love Hannah so much, and that monologue about accepting that she needs drugs to function was heart-breakingly good.
