A stranger's presence disturbs the radio station. Plus, an appeal for support from the mayor, another edition of Children's Fun Fact Science Corner, and a look at the community calendar.

Today’s proverb: I’m a single issue voter. If the candidate is not a baby polar bear, I straight up cannot support them.

"Stay tuned next for... the sound of human breathing, which is probably just your own. Probably"

I listened to this episode while driving, at night, on a dark road. This last line was particularly creepy, for me.

As an aficionado of Desert Bluffs, I look forward to seeing what the mayor has planned for helping the neighbors. Those poor folks, all out of work!

In other news, I just want to brag that I went to a live Night Vale performance and Meg is super cute in person. Also, I was delighted at all the Night Vale costumes--I spotted a Carlos and two Faceless Old Women, and some misc. merchandise/purple tutus/eyes on foreheads. I love it when the geeks dress up (myself included).

This episode was nice and terrifying!

Listeners, maybe take a moment to check outside your front door. Check for a silent strange face in your window, or just around the corner at the end of a hallway. Perhaps take an agonizing look into your shower.

AGGGHHHHH LOOKING IN THE SHOWER IS ALWAYS THE WORST!!!!!!! I seriously FELT the creepy-crawlies at that line.

It seems like Desert Bluffs is coming up more and more this year. Any theories as to why? Apart from my apparently insatiable need to be scared by Kevin on the regular.

I also really liked the weather, but I can't quite put my finger on why.

Everyone needs a rival/antagonist.

Yeah I heard that line as I walked into my empty apartment and glanced towards the bathroom ... I didn't actually go into the bathroom until my sister came home because I am a scaredy-cat.
