Welcome to the 1979 film club
November 13, 2015 9:22 PM - Subscribe

Posts will be infrequent, volunteer contributions welcome.

If you'd like to contribute a film, please schedule it via the club sidebar and put your Mefi name in brackets so it's clear who's doing what.

If a movie has already been posted to FanFare, but you'd like to view it as part of the club and discuss as a group, go ahead and schedule it so we can plan to watch and discuss in-thread!

Posts will be on a more infrequent basis.

Should be fun, let's talk below.

1979 ... my favorite year for just about everything.

Very much looking forward to "Breaking Away," which was regular fare on independent TV in the eighties but which I haven't seen in years. I'm in with a cold today so it's a good time to revisit.

Thanks to awesome joe!!

I'm all in for this one. I really enjoyed Breaking Away when I first saw it, plus I was born in 1979.

I may have to take The Black Hole. It warped my little mind way back when.
