I thought it might be interesting to discuss this one, since a) FanFare was not around when it first aired, and b) it's kind of fun to listen to it in light of everything else that has happened since.

I don't remember the original episode being as ominous as this one! But the internet tells me that if there was any changes, it was very minor in this re-release.

I actually found Cecil's voice work to be kinda terrifying in this episode. He seemed very . . . not strident, but forceful I guess. Much different from his laid-back, spooky feel. Ominous indeed!

Also, the Faceless Old Woman reminds me of Mr. Freedom's ex, so that always makes me smile, in a weird way. Actually, Mr. Freedom's ex went to school with Mara Wilson, so I guess I am 3 degrees of separation from the Faceless Old Woman!
