The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret: Season 3
January 15, 2016 3:40 PM - Season 3 (Full Season) - Subscribe

From the creative mind of Emmy Award winner David Cross, this tale of an American's business snafus in London picks up after Todd Margaret reluctantly ...

... blew up the world at the close of season two. So what do you do when the last season ended with the end of the world?

A hilarious, often over-the-top, thoughtful meditation on fate and free will, Todd Margaret returns after a long hiatus. Easily one of the most interesting sitcom seasons; as is written in the AVClub review below: "This is a cringe humor show that heavily relies on defecation jokes, and it needs Lost-level analyzing."

Aired on IFC in two three-episode blocks.

Reviewed at AVClub first block / second block.

Interview with David Cross at Splitsider. On The Daily Show. On the Ask Me Another podcast. On Nerdist.

That ending, though.

Absolutely wonderful. The way he/they made the "it was all a dream!" cliche into something NOT clichéd was genius.

Every time you think you have a handle on this show it just spirals further out of its own orbit, pulling back and back in increasingly absurd and innovative ways. Completely underrated.

Loved season 1. Found season 2 to be kind of bewildering. Season 3 is really really good and more interesting than a lot of 'throughtful' television.
