From the Season 3 Companion: "Ricky (Richard Manning) wrote the episode in a way that prescribed Scorpius as the hero of the story...If we didn't know better, this is the story of a tortured, parentless young man."
So, not my favorite episode (it's not always enjoyable watching characters, even villians, be mistreated), but an interesting idea. As so often with Farscape, it experiments and tries different things, it's never boring!
