I hated this first episode. It felt really, really short, and recycling an old Elmo's World segment for a chunk of it didn't help things. Also, opening with a bedtime sequence with a new Latina character named Nina felt really on the nose. Throughout the whole thing, I kept wondering: where are the humans we know? Where is the street?

An inauspicious start. Also, everything looks sparkly and strange. My toddler daughter did request a second episode, so I guess that's something.
