Serial: S01 Update: Day 03, Adnan Syed’s Hearing

This week, Sarah Koenig ducks back into the Adnan Syed case for a few days. There's a hearing in Baltimore—a court proceeding that's been nearly sixteen years in the making. Syed's attorney will introduce new evidence, and present a case for why his conviction should be overturned. Sarah and producer Dana Chivvis will discuss what happens, day by day.
Sadly, this is Sarah's last day on the hearings, as she is going back to covering Bowe Bergdahl again.
Undisclosed podcast, day 3.

I was so frustrated at the end when Sarah said that she wouldn't be able to cover the rest of the trial! Although I am now enjoying this season of Serial and am looking forward to the next ep, I'd totally be okay with pushing things back so we could get her recaps.

When she said "I have to get back or the next episode won't happen" I was like "but the next episode isn't coming out for two weeks so what's the hurry....?"

The tone of this has turned me from being a conflicted listener to being a former listener. The reference to superstar witnesses after their self-satisfied cutesyness with the acronym just felt so gross, like they have now completely disconnected it from a girl being murdered.

I like it when old posts about a subject have links to newer posts about that subject so that anyone who happens to look up the old post can follow the conversation to where it eventually moved...
So here is the link to the MeFi thread about the news that Adnan will get a new trial.
