Jaime and Ilana receive a large extermination bill and decide to throw a party to recoup the costs; Abbi goes on a mission to meet new people.
Yup. Jaime was great on this episode, and calling out on her earrings was the cherry on top.
This was another great cold opening, and a great stare-off between Eugene Mirman and Illana/Jaime.
One thing was bugging me: is Linc really a great cook, or was he cooking with weed?

Yeah, weed or no Lincoln being a stellar cook feels very, very real to his character.

I was not into this one. Random screaming is just ... the opposite of funny. IMHO. And then they just kept doing it. This episode also felt really weird, like it was written and directed by someone who had only seen 1 episode and didn't really get it. I have no idea if that's accurate, but that was the feel of the episode to me.

I guess I should say "screaming as punchline" rather than "random screaming", I get that it wasn't actually random.

Haha, yes. That brief moment where Abby is drunk enough to consider that maybe she has psychic powers or something right before she looks down and figures it out.

I think this was in direct reaction to the New Yorker story about this show, which called out Ilana's earrings ("Who is that joke on? And who got to make it?")
Putting it right into the episode made me respect them more.

That said, I loved Jaime calling Ilana on her shit at the very end. Let's see if any of that actually changes.
