New Group - SSFF

When books launched originally I suggested a Douglas Adams based group, and in the recent thread oneswellfoop went further and suggested a Silly Science Fiction Fantasy Group. Who's interested?

So SSFF starts at Pratchett and Adams but there is plenty of material.
I'm envisaging Tom Holt, Robert's Rankin and Aspirin, Doug Naylor / Rob Grant and if the format allows it inclusion of the various Adams Films, Radio Shows and TV Shows (not including much Doctor Who which is it's own thing), Discworld films and so on.

So, who's interested? What authors should we have on the list?
etc. etc.

This sounds like a ton of fun! I'd add Christopher Moore to the list, although I haven't liked his most recent books, and A. Lee Martinez, who in addition to writing funny novels, posts a lot of free fiction on his website. There's also the Unidentified Funny Objects anthologies that I've heard of, although i've never read them.

I'd be in on this. The only book I can think of to add is Good Omens, but maybe throw Red Dwarf in on the TV side.

I'd be interested and would suggest adding Jo Walton's Tooth and Claw, which basically is whimsical Jane Austen with dragons.

This'll be easier to find again later if the SillyScienceFictionFantasy tag is added.
