New Group - Metaphysics and Entanglement

Is anyone interested in reading and discussing philosophy or philosophical fiction?

If you're looking to have lively, witty discussion about deep philosophy and fiction, Metaphysics and Entanglement is the group for you. This is a group that will talk about philosophy from any era or region, and which deals with any subject: philosophy of mind, science, history, politics. Anyone is welcome, regardless of educational level. I'm not a philosopher or philosophy major myself, just a voracious reader.

Currently I want to see what people are interested in. Should we start with essays, fiction, or a manifesto? Something ancient or modern? Western, Arabian, or Chinese?

Since the idea for this group came after I heard the news of the death of philosopher Hilary Putnam, I was thinking of starting with his book of essays Realism With a Human Face. Let me know what you think.

Not sure I have anything to add, but this seems really interesting, I'd be into it.

Oh this does sound interesting. I don't know if I'll be able to join (often) as I need to read plenty for university, but I'll join and see what I can do.

I'm up for starting with the Putnam book. Would also like to tackle Why The World Does Not Exist by Markus Gabriel when there's an opening.
