iZombie: Reflections of the Way Liv Used to Be
April 8, 2016 1:28 AM - Season 2, Episode 17 - Subscribe
Liv and Detective Babineaux are investigating the murder of Bailey Barker, a type-A, ambitious, hyper-competitive and driven student near the top of her class. After consuming Bailey’s brain we see Liv become very much like the girl she was before becoming a zombie. Meanwhile, things seem to be going from bad to worse for Major, and Blaine reaches out to Ravi for help.
And, those final two episodes are running back-to-back next week. The fun starts an hour earlier.

I missed this watching the show but I read elsewhere that Vaughn's henchman whispered "He's got a shed" to Vaughn just before he was to work out with Major.
Lots of set-up indeed! The show has been planting bombs everywhere and now there's only two episodes left for all of them to explode.

This is one of those episodes that I loved in the moment but can't pass a deeper judgment on until the cliffhangers get some resolution.
Some thoughts:
* I heard the shed thing. I actually thought it was whispered too loud, and found that a little jarring. I don't think Vaughn is going to want the cops getting their hands on it, though - he *cannot* want the CDC to become aware of anything zombie related. He can fight the Seattle PD, but not the Feds, and he has to know that.
* Very curious what's going to happen to Rita.
* I don't think the case against Major is great right now, not without the aforementioned shed.
* Major on positivity brain was, indeed, the best. Like Ravi, I wanted to just follow Major around for a day. It does highlight how poorly they used the 'other zombies on brains' thing in prior episodes though. (Ditto the musician brain party at Blaine's.)
* I was happy to see the bro dudes again, and delighted at their reaction to new Liv.

I'm just so glad everything's okay with Ravi and Major. I like them both so much and that friendship really matters to me and I was so afraid that they were going to have a serious falling-out and it was going to break my heart.

I got a real kick out of Major on optimism brain. That's delightful!
With the captions on, the guard definitely said "...he's got a shed" to Vaughn. I wonder if that case will expose the zombies.
Also, Don E acting like the boss of the basement is hilarious to me. And the Chief playing the washboard is so great.

After initially not finding him interesting, Don E has really grown on me as the story progressed. Him being the boss is one of the bombs I had in mind because there is no way that can go well.
