This gets across just how completely *other* Christian feels, and how he feels like he's in a version of jail as long as he's not with his family, and how he sees all the other students as privileged beyond measure which he expresses by telling Tara she's "rich".

It also shows how protective he is for the first time. That's one of his ruling characteristics, the way he looks out for others, especially less street-smart others, and I don't think any textual emphasis is ever placed on that.

The really horrible boys that taunt Tara as she walks down the halls? The same ones that were taunting Sam last week. But it was my impression on first viewing that the Mean Boys just basically fade into the background.

Sam just gets even more lovable this week. He seems to be the most patient person in the world.

I loved this series ... and loved it even more when i suddenly recognized ms Raine! Strictly Ballroom!
