I liked this episode a lot more than the Vulture re-capper did, but, I agree that John's slave auction sub-plot doesn't hold up to scrutiny. He said he "almost beat a man to death" but, how could he have left him alive after the guy told him he knew his real name? The slaver could get him arrested for assault and theft. (Also though, I was so confused during those scenes because I completely failed to recognize the actor playing Clyde -- for the second damn time. I had to look up the character on imdb during episode 6 because I didn't remember him from episode 3, and in this one it wasn't until I read the recap that I realized it was the same guy/character again. Facepalm.)

Only one episode left! I don't think there's any question that Cato survived, since the gunshot was offscreen. But will August use him somehow to track down Rosalee? Or will Cato figure out a way to turn the tables on him?
