The show had a couple of routines I was cringing watching (blindness contemporary, Bollywood) but lots that that filled me with joy (hip hop, broadway, tap). Still want Zack to win, but I'd be satisfied with any of them.
Nigel is such a liability though. His uncalled for opinions on suicide really soured the mood. I'm hoping the show is renewed, but I wish there was some way to get Nigel to see sense and stick to producing, leaving the judging to people less prone to WTF moments.

Disagreeing with both of you a little bit... Jesse Tyler Ferguson was fairly irritating, I thought (really... Taking a selfie in lieu of commentary?), and I thought the girls' Bollywood was very good.
I really enjoyed the tap, though it would have been nice if Zach and Valerie had gotten the chance to tap together again. Ricky's solo was great! I wish there had been more opportunities for Ricky and Jessica to game together this season, and dammit but who keeps letting Tyce choreograph?!
I assume they'll be having the normal finale where judges choose their favorite piece? Honestly, other than the voodoo hip hop and Tanisha and Ryan's tango, not a lot stood out for me this season as *that dance.* I think blame for that lies with they choreographers rather than the dancers, though.

My two favorites were Jessica and Zack's broadway and Ricky and Zack's hip hop.
Jesse Tyler Ferguson was delightful, but I got super bored and couldn't really listen to Nigel or Mary. I found myself flipping away from their comments. Often at this point in the season it feels to me like Nigel either wants to congratulate everyone (even though it feels like it is really himself he is congratulating for being so brilliant to produce this show), or to offer life lessons or philosophy (which he is terrible at).
I felt like this would have been a good time to bring in some other exhibition dancers, rather than devote so much time to the judges talking.
