Barry discovers that his hold over Abuddin is tenuous. Sammy embarks on a risky relationship. Ihab's desire for revenge is given an outlet. Fauzi returns to Abuddin.
The action ramps up pretty quickly. Rami is killed in a kidnapping aimed at Molly that actually ends up in Emma falling into the hands of the Caliphate and Ihab in particular. Fauzi returns, teaches at the university and has students encouraging him to run for president, and eventually Barry confesses that he killed his daughter. Leila and General Big flirt and fill in their backstory. Jamal starts to recover and is itching to get back in the game. Meanwhile, Sammy has the hots for teacher.
