We share our thoughts and feelings on the outcome of the election, the role of the internet, and what we think we can do next.

On this new buzzfeed podcast, Ahmed Ali Akbar gathers folks together to drink tea, tell stories, and talk about being Muslim in America. This week: a post mortem on the election.

Hind Makki, Donna Auston, and Sara Yasin are all engaged with Muslim identity online, so we asked them about their experience of the election, their personal projects, and how it feels to be a Muslim on the internet.

I've been following and really liking this new buzzfeed podcast. I was planning to post their more lighthearted episode about jinn, but seems like this episode is the most topical right now.

As someone who is not well connected to Muslim communities in the US, I found this a really helpful set of perspectives to start thinking about. In general, I have been finding it comforting to listen to thoughtful people with well-reasoned analysis and personal stake talking about the election, and in that sense, this was a comforting listen. I was glad they also took time to reflect on ways to use the internet more generally, as that in itself is such an important factor in this election.
