Aida continues to go crazy. And with 4 LMDs in the base can Fitz and Jemma survive?

Valentine's Day was last week, but here's a bunch of Daisies.

I LOL'd at what was under the cut!

Is it just me, or does everyone else think that the writers sit around and say, "Hmmm. How can we bring Brett Dalton back this time?" It would be a kick if Grant Ward is the one guy in the whole simulation they can rely on! I'm hoping that, however this shakes down, they wind up porting this version of Ward into an LMD who kicks around for a while.

I was amused that MAOS's Agent Piper and Supergirl's Agent Vasquez were such similar characters.

I didn't realize until just now that they're played by the SAME ACTOR!!!

(Briana Venskus, btw)

Okay, so he's a VR simulation instead of an LMD, but I'm still taking credit for calling it.

Aida's resolution of conflicting directives was neat. Seeing Fitz and Simmons agonize over which of them might be a robot was cool too. And the relief that Simmons and Daisy share when they mutually confirm themselves as human was satisfying and earned.

I also like that "the framework" is just the most immediately available synonym for "the matrix".

Hey The Man From Landfork, you could still be right! Nothing's saying his VR simulation consciousness couldn't be transported into an LMD. Heck, maybe Ward tested an early version of the Framework and thus his consciousness is actually rattling around in there somewhere. Maybe he'd be a decent guy if you removed all the child abuse?

So... Were there rooms full of Coulsons, Fitzes and Macks, or did they just... Somehow.. Make a room full of LMD Daisies?

This was a great hour of TV. They really nailed it. They really ratcheted up the stakes, and there were some great cinematic moments and montages. I'm really looking forward to how the ad-hoc team gets out in front of this.

Mallory Jansen is doing really remarkable work as Aida within a narrowly-specified range. I'd love to see a scene between Aida and Android from Dark Matter.

Agent Piper is great.

It looks like the season is transitioning into its next pod (Agents of Hydra - I guess we'll spend a few episodes in the Framework?). I like how the end of one pod overlaps with the beginning of another.

Maybe because Daisy is the best hand-to-hand fighter? Possibly better than May at this point. Also, you could create two Daisies with the amount of material required for just one Mack.

Honestly though, I'm guessing it's because the plot dictated she was the one to male the discovery. If Mack had been not-replaced he would have discovered a room full of Mack LMDs.

I thought it was so they could have a Daisy greet and abduct/kill each Inhuman that was being called into headquarters. It would be too inefficient for one Daisy to greet hundreds? thousands? of powerful and likely suspicious people

Oh, yeah, that was it!

I'm waiting to see who steps out of the limo with Fitz-in-the-framework - I have a feeling it won't be Simmons.

Holy shit you guys, this episode was fantastic, completely blew me away. There was a lot of great storytelling, fine acting and beautiful character moments (Daisy and Emma hugging). Plus I'm really enjoying the more adult vibe that's happening, the show is just killing it there season, can't wait for April.

Man, SHIELD knows how to use up bases.

Agents of Hydra

I don't buy May as being Hydra; since they established that she's only content when fighting something it would make sense to me for her to be deep cover inside Hydra. But I liked that they had her in the magically not destroyed Triskelon, now rebranded.

Okay, i finally got around to watching this. Isn't it inefficient to make like 20ish LMD's, though?

Pretty cool episode, bro. Liked Jemma and Daisy teaming up and Daisy's power use here.

Why is Jemma dead in a framework? Weird.
