We have watched this series twice and now starting to watch it for the third time. Watched it during the Trump campaign to prepare myself because I knew he was going to win. Have not seen season seven - the conclusion, because it is not available yet in the US. Interested to find out what happens to Marchetti. Marchetti, "the butcher of Villeneuve" (fictional village).

Where can this series be found? It looks like the exact type of thing I'd love.

They show it on our local PBS station. That's how we have seen it. It is from channel "MHz". So you can watch it on Amazon video if you buy the MHz add on. We watch tons of foreign series from MHz on our local PBS station. If I didn't get it on PBS I would definitely buy the add on for 7.99 a month.
Where ever you get it make sure it says subtitled if you don't speak French and if you buy DVDs make sure they can be played on your player if you don't live in France.

Another thing I am seeing is that the last season is called "6" in USA and I think it was called 7 in France. So I can see the last season on Amazon video - it is there now. Oh God, I'm nervous - it says Dr. Larcher is on trial? Why?? And Mueller is back to testify?? Ick.

I just finished the first season. I have nothing bad to say. This is really good TV.
Checked out The Hollow Years from the library. Read it years ago but I want to read it again because of this show.
