Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Chasing Amy
May 15, 2017 8:18 PM - Season 4, Episode 18 - Subscribe

Amy suddenly vanishes hours before taking the Sergeant Exam, and it’s up to Jake and Rosa to find her before it’s too late.

“All we have in there are toys from the movie Kazaam. And none of them are even Kazaam!”

I'm so glad to see adults being adults on a show like this and Jake handling the future changes in their relationship so well. It actually really shows his love for Amy that was festering in the early seasons.

My immediate reaction was to be unimpressed that the writers would have the woman in a relationship angsting about whether prioritizing her career would harm her relationship, since a man would never worry about that. I conveyed that to my wife and she quickly responded, "but that's exactly what happens."

Also, the clip of Santiago quietly singing from the Great American Songbook in bed was really fucking creepy.

Yes, there'd be a lot of guys out there who'd be butthurt if their girlfriend got promoted ahead of them. Luckily Jake is not the sort to mind.

Also, Die Hard off a roof!
