My Brother, My Brother And Me: MBMBaM 362: Travis McElroy Presents: Waffle Friend

Okay, so, you're going to hit a point in this episode where we start talking about who would win in a very real war between horse-mounted humans and centaurs. And we want you to know, right now, before getting started, that this will be the remainder of the episode. Just managing expectations, here. Suggested talking points: Preparing for Buffett Battle, Driving Test Cop Friends, Body Exploration, Sisterhood of the Stolen Pants, Garofal-O's, Humans & Horses vs. Centaurs

Also it appears these boys don't watch Steven Universe or Bojack Horseman.

It's been years but I still think about Weaddabebe Eetsaboi. It might be the best commercial that has ever existed.

I know Justin's a big Steven Universe fan but he might not be current.

I think I laughed every damn time they said "centaurs" in a slightly different way.

Also, Janeane Garofalo and Mark Ruffalo's Waffle-Os deserves to be a classic like Tim McGraw's Krav Maga.

One of those youtube fan animators better be working on Early Centaurs.

What's the Steven Universe refence? The idea that centaurs are a fusion of man and horse?

No the reference to "Breakfast friends" made me think of "Crying breakfast friends".

Also: exciting announcement

Humans & Horses in a laugher. First, I think it's only fair to assume that the horses are just as invested in the war as humans and centowers are. They are not just unwilling mounts for the humans, but are their full allies. This means that the Human/Horse Alliance (HHA) has a much wider range of units and tactics available to it. Horses alone are going to be faster (more aerodynamic) than centaurs, humans alone are much more mobile, especially in close quarters, that centaurs, and humans on horses have the advantage of having two brains per unit - the horse can watch out for and avoid danger while the human attacks, or the horse can trample while the human defends it, etc.

I can't believe that everyone I have talked to is wrong on this.

Also, I literally used to do the Weaddabebe Eetsaboi thing when I needed a ride home from my parents in the pre-cell phone days. If you called collect from a payphone, you got a computer that would record your "name" instead of an operator, so I would just give my name as "Pick me up after rehearsal" and they would know when and where to come get me.

They didn't establish whether these were small-horse centaurs or big-person centaurs.

¿Porque no los dos? Big-person, small-horse. Garf-head, Pam-body.
