My Brother, My Brother And Me: MBMBaM 372: Face 2 Face: Sock-Based Target Crimes

Here's another one of our live shows from our recent tour of America's most Northeastern reaches -- this time from the Wilbur in Boston! This was our first of two shows that night, which is good, because this is before things went way, way off the rails.

i was at this show and it was (mostly) awesome, though the audience questions (mostly) fell flat. it contains maybe my single favorite yahoo ever. one of the brothers joked that every question they dealt with was philosophically challenging and that made for a really wild show. i'm super jealous of those who went to the late show now that i know it was even further off the rails.

i wish they had some way to release these without the audience sounds. i don't know why but i find them sonically so unpleasant that i mostly skip these and i wish i didn't have to.

And i guess also they sound like they're shouting the whole episode even though they have mics which is so hard for me to listen to. why can't everything be exactly the way i want it to be all the time. shrimp heaven NOW.

This made me smile and giggle a lot: a little animated compilation of the times Griffin says "play with me!" I was also delighted by the addition of Rachel and baby Henry at the end. I just started listening to Wonderful! and I am so incredibly charmed by how sweet and funny Rachel and Griffin are together, oh my goodness.

Enjoyed it! But I can't be the only person that always immediately turns off a live show the second they get to the audience questions part, right? Not just MBMBaM but also Nerdist and really all of them. My fremdschämen kicks in so hard that I scramble as fast as possible to shut that shit off.

Took me a while to get to this one (I'm enh on live shows), but I was very pleased that it featured a hidden Justin joke, about his favorite U2 song being "Biblioteca".
