Sketches include a parolee meeting his unorthodox parole officer, a Nazi shaggy dog story, and "a man with a neck brace walks into a bar."

The True Detective-style interstitials are still around, though with more joking this week. And after SNL "borrowed" one of K&P's signature spots last week, the opener absolutely owns the topic in less than a minute.

I was in awe of Peele transitioning between the parole officer and Lil' Homie in that sketch. Loved the steampunk details too -- "An ill-ass Lemony Snicket up in this bitch." The interstitial bits were better for me this time, especially the "Who's your favorite actor? You." Key is so clearly about to break, but he holds it together.

I'm a huge fan of Key and Peele, but the "man with a brace" and "Nazi Shaggy dog story" both showed signs of SNL syndrome. They went on far too long and the padding hurt.
