His subject turns out to be the lovely Eliza Doolittle (Audrey Hepburn), who agrees to speech lessons to improve her job prospects. Proud Confederate veteran Judge Priest (Will Rogers) presides over court in Fairfield, Kentucky in 1890 where Jeff Poindexter (Stepin Fetchit) is accused of chicken theft. Jeff is acquitted, thanks to the literal Confederate soldier being such a champion for tolerance, don'tyaknow. Heck, he's so nice, he even hires Jeff as a servant. There's more plot after that, mostly about who the judge's nephew is going to marry. Hattie McDaniel sings a lot. [more inside]

Leach then dons a costume and becomes the Phantom, intent on ruining Swan while saving singer Phoenix (Jessica Harper) from a terrible fate. This low-budget freak show/cult-classic/cultural institution concerns the misadventures of Brad Majors and Janet Weiss inside a strange mansion that they come across on a rainy night. After the wholesome pair's car breaks down in the woods, they seek refuge in a towering castle nearby. Greeting them at the door is a ghoulish butler named Riff Raff, who introduces them to a bacchanalian collection of partygoers dressed in outfits from some sort of interplanetary thrift shop.
Movie: The Happiness of the Katakuris
The Katakuris are a four-generation family of failures. Aiming to change their luck, they purchase a large old home situated on a former garbage dump near Mount Fuji, aiming to make it a bed and breakfast. When they finally get their first guest, he commits suicide, and the Katakuris make the decision to save their business by burying the body and concealing the death. Stuff gets worse from there.
