At the halfway point for the series the zompire outbreak is in full swing. Abe continues to slay (although with some age related complications), Eph's family continues to be annoying, and Vasiliy continues to be underused.

Abe and Eph set out to control the plague that has begun to sweep New York, with Abe's character getting a little more back story about how he became a vampire hunter. The plague continues to spread, and seems to be tipping towards a bull blown epidemic, as our various characters encounter more and more infected.

The parasites continue to spread, the CDC characters realize the full extent of what they're dealing with, and Abraham begins his grim quest against the Evilguy Stoneheart Foundation. Also, a car is stolen and sold.

As the plot advances, we see the four survivors of the death plane having their bodies changed by the disease inside of them. The CDC has brushed the incident under the rug, but our protagonists continue to discover unsettling evidence.
