As much as I like seeing unusual pairings on this show (so this time Dan and Amenadiel) this was a terrible episode. It felt like it was a backslide into the early episodes of the first season in terms of character development and where Lucifer is on his journey of self-discovery. I hope the rest of the season is better.

Yeah, I liked some of the scenes in isolation, but it wasn’t a coherent episode. The case-of-the-week was a dud.

The case of the week wasn't just weak but plainly awful. What a misstep.

Eh, I actually liked it right up until the end with Lucifer and Amenadiel, where Lucifer did seem to have suddenly regressed to how he was when Amenadiel first appeared.

Yeah, the crime of the week was pretty campy, but that's just how the show is.

More interestingly, I think the Lt knows the deal, what with him talking about Chloe's "effect on people." Hard to say which side of the apparently upcoming conflict he'll be on if that's the case.

Super boring and whiney.

Be more fun, Lucifer.

this is what happens when you refuse to have your main plotline progress.

i will not stop beating this horse.

To be fair, they've been strongly indicating that it will be moving forward at least somewhat this season.
