I'd been enjoying the show up to this point, but this was probably about the point when I realized I was really going to like the show.

I thought the "come on up and tell your story" was a little bit heavy handed and obvious, but on the other hand Randy was maybe the best ventriloquist act I've ever seen in my life. Quite the contrast to, say, Howdy Doody who I believe also showed up in this episode?

We just started in on the show this week, and are loving it. Rachel Brosnahan is amazing.

Yeah, the “come up and tell your story” bit was from wayyyy out of left field, given that the rally didn’t really seem like a “tell your personal story” event. And, how is it lead characters can arrive late to a big crowd event, and yet can always simply waltz through the crowd to the front?

Loved that Midge discovered Redd Foxx. Disappointed they didn’t use a saltier sound bite of the record. Party records were a big thing when I was growing up.

'Bout died when she casually mentioned that Tubby the Tuba record. Spent a lot of time with that record. Also, pretty great show. But if it's only been a few days and her husband is living with this woman, where are the lawyers demanding he pay for her apartment too? Is he going to pay for his kids? Rawr.
