Man, I like Jesse so much, and he's generally so good at riffing off other smart and funny people, but this never got going. A lot of it was that any pop-culture reference can stop things dead, but he just never really gelled.

Jordan was a lot better, but was audibly trying really hard.

I thought it started off all right but by the end they’d just devolved into being Jordan and Jesse. I’m glad they did this podcast, though, because it had fallen off my radar and this was a good reminder to get back into it.

Yeah, I kind of wish the premise had been reversed, like that episode when the Tavern crew fell through a plot hole or whatever into the Comedy Bang Bang studio.
