So on the one hand, this is 75% more narratively coherent than the first installment in this series. And YAY, YOU Jason Blum. But OTOH, this is just an R-rated Lifetime movie and, fuck you, Dermot Mulroney, you do not get an award for the most acting, just the best.

As someone who is genre savvy this movie is a huge nothing burger. It's utterly predictable with no surprises or nuances to recommend it. I would be surprised if even non-genre fans found something redeeming about it.
