So...I literally could not remember where we left things with Liv's family. I'm still not totally sure. I guess it's good to tie up loose ends and all, but I didn't remember they were loose, so it fell kind of flat for me. Not sure what to make of Liv's long-lost dad as the seemingly Big Bad?

But Martin Roberts is somehow Beanpole Bob, right?

I hope they can tie everything together by the end of the season. This show tends to introduce a bunch of new things every season that does get resolved, usually through deaths. This being the final season I can understand them wanting to wrap up more stuff, like Michelle and Liv's family. But I'm unclear about what Charlie and her twin, Lyla (the credits say Laila but the captions says Lyla), has to do with the overall plot. I'm still not entirely sure Martin Roberts could be Beanpole Bob.

I'm sad about Justin though, I wonder if Liv will mourn him at all. They weren't together for long and ended kind of on not so good terms (right?). Too bad he got sucked into the ideology.

Yeah, the dad thing came out of nowhere but I am a wee bit glad they cleared up "that's why Liv couldn't save her brother, she's a zombie, DUH."

I forgot that Liv and Justin dated.

I most certainly did not remember the details of Liv's family backstory, and so the thing with her mom and birth father was jarring and unsatisfying. I guessed that Justin was the traitor almost immediately, so watching Major slowwwwwly bumble around to get there was a bit dull.
